The BWIS Summit marks the official launch of the new fellowship cycle for Black Women in Science (BWIS) Fellowship, a nationally accredited programme empowering postgraduate women scientists through professional qualifications in scientific writing, communication, and entrepreneurship.
Now celebrating its 10th year of impact, BWIS stands as a leading initiative supported by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) and the National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF). The event serves as both an induction for the incoming fellows and a showcase of BWIS’ accredited curriculum, national partnerships, and pathways to employment and enterprise creation.
The Summit convenes fellows, alumni, mentors, and government representatives.
